Freeconomy needs help too!
OK, I'm going to start with the good news. Freeconomy, over the last eighteen months in particular, has grown to a scale that really ought to appal me, and is now flourishing in many towns and cities across the world. It has already spread to 160 countries, and there are over 25,000 members in the UK alone, and more and more local groups get going every month. A thousand people signed up in Poland alone in one twelve hour period a few months ago. Occupy Wall St - a guest blog by Charles Eisenstein
This week it is my absolute pleasure to welcome Charles Eisenstein to the Freeconomy blog. Charles is the author of the most insightful, life-changing book I've ever read, titled The Ascent of Humanity. I almost never say this, but it really is essential reading, it saved me about 30 years of my life. He also has a new book just out titled Sacred Economics: Money, Gift and Society in the Age of Transition, which I haven't actually read yet but plan to. I will also be giving a talk with him in November as part of his online course for the Evolver Intensives (part of Reality Sandwich).

So in my last blog I asked you all if I would have been wiser to have kept it up, or if on this occasion I took the most beneficial course of action by pulling it.
